Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Rempor. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Rempor.
Rempor is a peer-to-peer marketplace that allows registered users ("Sellers") to list physical goods for sale and other registered users ("Buyers") to discover, negotiate, and purchase those goods. Rempor provides the platform and tooling — including listings, chat, offers, and payment facilitation — but is not a party to any transaction between Buyers and Sellers.
References to "Rempor", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to Rempor and its operators. References to "you" or "user" refer to any person who accesses or uses the platform in any capacity.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Rempor. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Rempor reserves the right to refuse registration or suspend any account at its sole discretion.
To access most features of Rempor you must create an account by providing a valid email address and completing our one-time password (OTP) verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised use of your account. Rempor is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.
Sellers may create listings for physical goods they own and are legally entitled to sell. By creating a listing you represent and warrant that:
Rempor may remove any listing at any time, without notice, that it deems to violate these Terms or applicable law.
The following are strictly prohibited on Rempor:
Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension and referral to law enforcement.
Rempor facilitates connections between Buyers and Sellers but is not a party to any sale. All agreements, including price, condition, delivery method, and meetup arrangements, are solely between the Buyer and the Seller.
Online payment: Rempor integrates Stripe for online payments. Payments processed through Stripe are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Rempor does not store card details.
Cash / meetup: Buyers and Sellers may agree to complete a transaction via in-person meetup and cash payment. Rempor strongly recommends meeting in a safe public location. Rempor bears no responsibility for the safety, conduct, or outcome of any in-person meeting.
Buyers may submit price offers through the Rempor chat system. An offer submitted by a Buyer is an expression of intent and does not constitute a binding contract until accepted by the Seller. Once a Seller accepts an offer, both parties are expected to complete the transaction in good faith.
Rempor does not guarantee that any offer will be accepted or that a transaction will be completed following an offer.
Rempor currently does not charge listing fees or transaction fees. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future, and will provide reasonable advance notice before any fee structure takes effect. Continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of any new fees.
Rempor does not operate a buyer protection programme and does not process refunds on behalf of Sellers. Refund requests must be directed to the Seller. If a Buyer and Seller cannot resolve a dispute, Rempor may, at its sole discretion, assist in mediation but is under no obligation to do so.
For payments processed via Stripe, Buyers may initiate a chargeback through their card issuer subject to Stripe's chargeback policies. Sellers acknowledge that chargebacks may result in transaction reversal.
By posting content on Rempor — including listing descriptions, images, and messages — you grant Rempor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.
You retain ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable laws.
Your use of Rempor is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
All rights in the Rempor platform — including its design, code, trademarks, and content produced by Rempor — are owned by or licensed to Rempor. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Rempor's name, logo, or other intellectual property without prior written permission.
The Rempor platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Rempor does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
Rempor makes no representations about the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing or item sold through the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rempor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform or any transaction conducted through it.
In no event shall Rempor's total liability to you for any claim exceed the greater of (a) SGD 100 or (b) the amount you paid to Rempor in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rempor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the platform, your listings, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms.
Rempor may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Rempor may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
